CFD and G’Ride are new shock absorbers ranges by HOLA made for passenger vehicles.
In 2014, the new shock absorbers were released for such motor brands as Chevrolet, Daewoo, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel and Renault.
New shock absorbers by HOLA
CFD shock absorbers were created for those who prefer the comfort, who like so called "soft" suspension and mild comfortable driving. The main challenge faced by HOLA engineers was to make a car move comfortably and without any difficulty even on imperfect roads. Although aimed at quiet and comfortable driving, HOLA CFD shock absorbers avoid "swimming and crabbing" of the vehicle on the road as well as excessive inclinations and "nodding" while high-speed lane changing or braking.
G'Ride shock absorbers were created for more dynamic driving. G'Ride shocks by HOLA let the car control the road while turning, assure the best control of high-speed lane changing, braking and speeding-up, prevent the vehicle from excessive inclination and are indispensable during extreme situations on the road.
Both series of HOLA shock absorbers serve for any road conditions. Their security and long operation time are guaranteed by their high quality and various technical know-how applications.
Superfinishing of the shock absorber piston
To get a piston ready one should fabricate and grind it. Many manufactures apply these two stages only. But HOLA engineers look for higher quality level. HOLA shock absorbers pistons are superfinished. Apart from the usual grinding, the pistons are high frequency treated, and then they get a special treatment: the bars with industrial diamond paste move at a speed of about 1500 beats per minute smoothing the surface, improving its quality and creating honed finishing effect.
High quality oil seals
The materials used for the oil seals guarantee their long-term service notwithstanding frequent temperature changes about zero degrees centigrade.
Specially created oil seal base and closing damper provide the system leak resistance and the best oil seal adherence to the pistol surface.
Optimized valve adjustments
G'Ride piston and stem valves are the result of two-years' work and experiments that HOLA engineers performed with the shocks adjustments for various automobile brands. The shock absorbers act progressively at low speeds and regressively at high speeds. It is achieved by combinations of the throttle and spring valves. The former start acting from zero, while the latter open when a certain tension is achieved inside the shock absorber. The advantage of progressive acting is that at low speeds the shock doesn’t need great force and provides milder floating and better contact with the road, while for better dying out of the high speed vibration the regressive action is preferred. It helps achieve the necessary stiffness for control and softness for comfort.
HOLA CFD and G’Ride shocks use special damping compound oil made in Japan, avoiding foaming even during long time acting at high speed on low quality roads. The careful oil selection lets improve shocks energy output and provides suspension stable activity within the range of -40? C to +80? C
High quality weldless tubes are exclusively used for the shocks fabrication. That is why HOLA shock absorbers are secure and long-life even in the extreme situations.
Fabrication culture and warranty liability
HOLA shock absorbers are fabricated according to the LongLifeWarranty program. It is a set of actions aimed at the production modernization and quality control. The products fabricated in accordance with the LONG LIFE WARRANTY program have better consumption qualities and longer life-time. HOLA shock absorbers warranty period lasts for 24 month*
* Only if 4 shock absorbers per car are changed
